Carving Workshops

I am a master mason and stone sculptor with 30 years experience and have been teaching since 1995. I teach all aspects of stone carving, heraldic carving, stone masonry banker technique and letter cutting

Workshops are limited to a maximum of 10 persons ensuring that you receive individual attention but also benefit from seeing other aspects of stone carving being carried out around you.

 For companies, clubs and societies we can take 16 if a similar aspect of carving or banker work is of interest. (These will be dates other than those shown and can be during the week. Please email to arrange mutually acceptable dates.)

Our Carving Workshops are very popular and fill up very quickly so get in touch soon to reserve your place.

Tuition emphasises the use of hand tools, the skills and technique needed to turn a thought or drawing into a piece of your own to take home.

Our workshops are ideal for beginners, but also the more experienced allowing your technique to grow with more challenging pieces of work.

Workshops take place in the EC area of Central London,. I try as much as possible to make all aspects of the experience one to remember.

What's included

Stone to carve and use of the required tools and safety equipment (The stone supplied for your project will be top quality and of a appropriate size) And Tea/Coffee, some cold drinks and biscuits.

To Book

Cost for one day is £80.00 the weekend is £150.00 per person  (All prices include VAT)

A 25% deposit required to book a space with remainder payable 6 weeks before workshop.

Cancellations up to 6 weeks before workshop will receive 100% of deposit refund or alternative workshop date, after this point the deposit will be non refundable.
